At Kenna and Turner we are extremely proud of our staff. We have been established over 125 years and our Funeral Directors have over 100 years’ experience between them. Our team of Directors, Bearers and Drivers set the high standards that are expected with funeral services. Our staff come from varied backgrounds but all share the same values to ensure loved ones are treated with utmost respect at all times.


Michael Ennion

Michael is a 3rd generation family member who has worked in the business all of his life. His experience is invaluable and been instrumental in helping the company grow. With plans of retirement in the near future Michael has dropped down to a part time basis. Michael is also father to Jeremy and Chris, and husband to Ketty.

Ketty Ennion

Ketty is from the 3rd generation of the family and mother to Jeremy and Chris Ennion. She is involved in a part-time capacity and is looking forward to retirement, leaving the business in the safe hands of her sons.

Jeremy Ennion

Our Managing Director Jeremy has worked for Kenna and Turner for 25 years. A 4th generation family member, Jeremy started at the bottom washing cars and has successfully climbed the ladder. An avid golfer who enjoys socialising, Jeremy is a key member of the team who leads by example.

Chris Ennion

Chris is the caretaker at Kenna and Turner, who looks after the building and general maintenance issues. He is a member of the family and has been with the company for 30 years. With a passion for travel, Chris gets away when ever he can seeking the sun and new experiences.

Sharon Ennion

Sharon is an integral part of the running of the business. She has worked for Kenna and Turner for over 7 yrs, her main title is Funeral Planning advisor and has won awards for three years running for Regional Funeral Planner of the Year for her outstanding work within Pre-Paid Funeral Planning. Sharon also runs the back office including Accounts, donations, marketing, advertising and administration tasks. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys going to the gym and spending as much time with her large network of friends and family along with her adorable 8yr old son.

Philip Cuthbert

A member of the team for 30 years after joining straight from school, Philip is our Senior Funeral Director. He duties include arranging funerals, conducting, fitting coffins and preparing/dressing for the chapel of rest. With a young family, 3 girls and a boy, Philip doesn’t get too much spare time but when he does he is a keen cyclist and runner and regularly competes in triathlon and Iron man events.

John Tresch

John has been a Driver and Bearer at Kenna and Turner for 12 years. Much of John’s spare time is taken volunteering for local and national charities. John regularly supports Help for Heroes where he attended shows and drives the military vehicles!

Mark Connell

Mark joined the Kenna and Turner team 16 years ago but has been a family friend his entire life. He is an experienced driver and bearer who has also worked as funeral conductor. Outside of work Mark is a family man, who loves spending time with his Daughter and their dog. In his spare time Mark is a keen golfer and a member of the Free Masons.

Martin Ford

Martin joined us 7 years ago and has been fully trained in house. A highly regarded Driver and Bearer, Martin’s duties include making difficult home visits. After recently becoming a grandfather for the first time Martin spends a lot of his free time with his family.

Michael Deighton

A policeman of 30 years, Michael retired in 2009 and has been with us as a Driver/Bearer for 2 years. Michael is married with 3 sons and has a passion for acting appearing in blockbuster films such as Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and The Darkest Hour. Micheal’s other interests include watercolour painting, gardening & cycling.
