Just off the A41, Bromborough Evangelical Church is based in an old school, offering a classic and more modern red-brick exterior with a large, inviting, open-spaced interior.
Bromborough Gospel Hall

Bromborough Gospel Hall is a relatively small and young church following the word of both the Old and New Testament.
Although there are no graveyard facilities at the Gospel Hall, it can be a great place for a small and intimate funeral service in a 70’s styled building.
Bromborough Methodist Church

Founded in 1927, the Bromborough Methodist Church holds a small community of those looking for a place of worship from all different theological viewpoints.
This church offers both contemporary and more traditional services including funerals. The classic wooden pews and grand alter provides an excellent environment to say the final goodbye.
Christ Church is a parish church based in Higher Bebington. The church has been in place for over 160 years and welcomes people of all ages.
Christ Church offers Christian funeral services and is a beautiful grade 2 listed building for any service.
This beautiful red-bricked, Anglican church resides on the outskirts of Oxton village.
Built-in the 19th century, Christ Church Birkenhead has a grand heritage story and boasts a large Evangelical and Protestant community with regular services.
Christ Church Bebington

Built by Walter Scott in the late 1900’s, Christ Church Bebington is constructed from sandstone paired with a slate roof. This gorgeous church is home to an active Anglican faith-based churched.
Christ Church Bebington continues the bare sandstone walls inside, along with large wooden arch beams delivers a textbook and beautiful atmosphere
Christ Church Moreton offers formal and informal teachings of the Protestant faith.
Located in the heart of Moreton, this church promotes inclusivity, where friendships can be built and retained with regular services, baptisms, weddings, and funerals.
Christ the King R.C. Church

Christ the King Church is a Roman Catholic faith-based church with a newly decorated interior offering a clean and modern environment with subtle blue and cream walls and minimal décor.
Along with more modern-day pews, Christ the King R.C Church’s main room is kept fresh for all services while maintaining a traditional atmosphere. Surrounding the main seating area are elegant stained-glass windows and brass sculptures.
As an Anglican church, St. Nicholas Church Greasby the Parish offer a strong bond to God.
The small community of St. Nicholas offers a range of services for all ages and all occasions. The church can host services such as funerals however they do not have a graveyard.
This Evangelical church launched in 2013 and keeps family at the heart of its community.
Although a relatively new church, its teachings and gospel are there to inspire and comfort those in need. They offer all services, from baptisms to funerals, with new uplifting praises to lead the way and restore peace.
The grand exposed red-bricked Grange church is situated off the main road in Bebington.
The church has a long history which dates back over 150 years. Grange church is predominantly an English-speaking congregation with Sunday services for the Wirral Chinese Church.
Greasby Methodist Church has been a place of worship since the 1930s.

This modest grey stone building holds a lively community and has a homey interior. There is limited parking at Higher Bebington Methodist Church, but it is a great place to remember and hold service for the passing of a loved one.
Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity is a parish church which was built in 1987 to meet the demand of its popularity.
The origins of Hope church were planted in the Congregational church, but since 2017 the church is now an independent Evangelical church.
This red-bricked building with sandstone dressings boasts a large community in Hoylake. All ages are welcome, and the church has access to streaming services, which they do regularly for their Sunday gatherings. Inclusivity is key for this congregation.
Build in 2012, the Jireh Church venue holds all kinds of services with clean and minimal décor to serve as a calming environment.
Along with the large accessible space seating up to 100 people, the Jireh Church offers a small Mezz with a large window into the main room. Suitable if there are small children or for those who need a quiet space.
This new up-beat evangelical faith-based church welcomes all generations and could be the perfect place to hold a funeral service.

Lower Bebington Methodist Church is a stunning tall vibrate red-bricked church, with limited parking spaces but all the classic elements which make a church, a church.
Inside Lower Bebington Methodist Church are huge arches and deep brown wooden pews for family and friends to gather at this sensitive and potentially overwhelming time. This active Christian church are passionate about sharing the love for God and Jesus.
The Moreton Methodist church has a long history with the Moreton and is highly involved with their community.
Their teachings are traditional, welcoming, and accessible for all ages to identify their faith. Moreton Methodist church is renowned for its services and has many rooms to choose from for hire.
The Oasis Church is located south of Wallasey and is part of the Elim Pentecostal group.
The church promotes diversity and offers a warm welcome to those who attend. The congregation has been around since the late 20th century and even supports those on missions currently in Africa.
This early 20th-century Catholic church embodies the very nature of catholicism and its teachings.
Situated in southern Greasby Our Lady of Pity Catholic church has devoted itself to the work of God. There have even been structural changes inside the building to cater for Mass and ensure the catholic community can grow and prosper.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church is located on the outskirts of Moreton, boasting a large Catholic community.
The relatively new rustic building replaced the long-standing church founded in 1921. There are weekly Mass meetings and various other services tied to the traditional catholic teachings.
St Agnes is a popular Roman Catholic church in West Kirby.
Located off the main road in Liscard, St. Alban’s Church Parish was formed in 2010 by joining two previous churches.
Although the congregation have been established the just over 12 years, the church is a paragon of gothic architecture and traditional catholicism.
Built in the mid-19th century, this beautiful building looks out toward wales with deep roots in the Christan faith.
The community is very traditional and welcoming, with a long history of serving the Wallasey community. They are an Anglican-based church.
St. James Church is a very active Anglican Parish Church offering stunning gothic architecture.
Completed in the mid-19th century, St. James church has been dedicated to the Wirral community. The Parish have a range of services and monthly holy communion.
St John – The Evangelist R C Church

This sizable red bricked building displays a modern and vibrant environment with stunning stained-glass windows. There is no onsite parking or graveyard for this church.
St Marks Church

St Marks is a Church of England church situated in New Ferry.
The distinguished Storeton sandstone-bricked church prides itself on the diverse Evangelical community, welcoming all with open arms.
Built in the 20th century, St. Nicholas church is located in the centre of Greasby, a beautiful location for the send-off your loved one deserves.
The congregation of St. Peter’s church are lively to grow in love for God.
The church is a combination of Anglican and Evangelical dedicated to both God and Jesus Christ. The community is evergrowing and has variety of services available.
Based in Oxton, St. Saviours church is a large and friendly family with formal and informal ways of worship.
Built-in the late 19th century, the red sandstone and architectural style is a beautiful location for all services. With a community of over 500 people, the church is an integral part of Oxton.
The neoclassical architecture of St. Werburgh’s Church is the very meaning of the Roman Catholic faith.
As an active Roman Catholic Chuch, the are deemed the mother-church of Birkenhead. Their ground is an incredible place for all services.
St. Barnabas Church

Standing withing the boundary of the Bromborough Village Conservation Area, St. Barnabas Church offers classic gothic architecture outside and throughout the interior.
This active Anglican church is in the centre of Bromborough with a quaint arched entrance and large grounds. It is one of Sir George Gilbert Scott’s most excellent works.
With its large tower St. Bridget’s Church is a well-known landmark in West Kirby. The church itself is centuries old and a welcoming church of England parish.
United Reformed Church

The United Reformed Church came into existence in the early 50’s welcoming all to join the community.
This church offers a large space and two smaller rooms off the side. The yellow bricked quaint church boasts fullness and a traditional environment. There is no graveyard attached to this facility.
The West Kirby Reformed Church is a red brick church located just outside West Kirby town centre.
