Arranging a funeral is a stressful time and when doing it for the first time you will surely have a lot of questons to ask, we’re here to help make this as easy as possible.

How much does an arranged funeral arrangement cost?

The cost of our funeral directors’ costs for an arranged funeral cost up to £2350, which includes:

  • Taking care of all the necessary legal and administrative arrangements
  • Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises) into the funeral director’s care
  • Care of the deceased person before the funeral in appropriate facilities, The deceased person will be kept at both the funeral director’s branch premises and at other non-branch premises
  • Providing a suitable coffin – this will be made from veneer
  • Viewing of the deceased person for family and friends, by appointment with the funeral director (where viewing is requested by the customer)
  • At a date and time you agree with the funeral director, taking the deceased person direct to the agreed cemetery or crematorium (normally within 20 miles of the funeral director’s premises) in a hearse or other appropriate vehicle

Do you offer direct cremations on the Wirral?

We do offer direct cremations on the Wirral, also often referred to as pure cremations or simple cremations or anattended cremations. These types of cremations provide a simple, flexible cremation service for a loved one who’s passed, allowing the immediate family to remember and celebrate their life together in their own time and space.

What churches do you provide funeral arrangements for on the Wirral?

We provide funeral arrangements for a range of churches across the Wirral, from Bromborough, Bebington and Neston, up to Birkenhead, Wallasey and West Kirby.

How long does it take to organise a funeral?

Organising a funeral can take just days to organise for direct burials or direct cremations, which may not require as much preparation. Extensive funeral arrangements or arranged cremations can take up to weeks. During this time, we provide you with full support and hold your hand through the process to find an arranged date that is right for the family.
